Database Administration Specialist

The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to identify and help acquire new business ventures for organization and its customers.       Database Administration Specialist will develop thier existing skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. Key Responsibilities

The Database Administration Specialist plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection and ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries.  Further, the position establishes and maintains security and integrity controls and formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.  Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should demonstrate sophisticated research and analysis skills, as well as an ability to further evolve organization's business. Database Administration Specialists must have a bachelor’s degree in a related specialty or the equivalent, and two+ years of related experience.

 U.S. Citizenship is required.

The candidate will help create, develop, and update current databases and websites.  The primarily focus will be on systems involved in the development and support of the engineering parts lists, procurement and configuration management support.  The candidate will assist the team with all database systems, including but not limited to: the PARTS Database, Engineering Parts lists, TeamCenter, IFS, ADDS and Solumina.  The candidate will also have knowledge and experience in Excel macros/programming and VBA.
